A deep red variant of cherry shrimp that differs from the Fire Red variety, as Bloody Mary shrimp have red pigment in their flesh. This variety lacks the pale racing stripe seen on female cherry shrimp. Bloody Mary in particular are known for being ugly ducklings as juveniles, but begin to color up after 10mm and will continue to do so over many months.
The shrimp you will receive are 10-12mm long unsexed juveniles that will reach full potential after sexual maturity.
